Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
In the initial design, the Ui was intended to track keypresses on its own. Rather than doing that, the ui will register commands with the backend and make them available in Scheme. This means that keypresses are managed in one location.
